9 September Barnet Copthall Masters Sprints Meet

Acton Masters won 13 medals at the Barnet Copthall Sprints Meet. The meet attracted over 50 clubs from around the country and two world records were broken.

David Sopher won 3 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze, Malcolm Munro won 2 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze, Eric Bush won 1 gold and Martin Fox won 1 silver.

The 200 year 4 x 50 relay team of Ken Adey, Martin Fox, Malcolm Munro and David Sopher narrowly missed out on a bronze.
