This event has been a great success since its introduction. It is open to all members.

Swimmers are arranged into four teams at the coaches' discretion. All are given their 50yds PB time to race against in all four strokes. The appropriate seconds are added to a team total if they are slower than their PBs or taken away from their team totals if they are faster. The winning team is the team that has scored the fewest seconds. Medals are awarded to the winning team.

We now have comprehensive records of each swimmer's range of PBs and all the various club records in a range of events, distances and pool sizes. All swimmers and parents/ carers will be able to check out a child’s PBs and look forward to them being awarded certificates for breaking records. Thanks go to Becky Hardie for setting this up.

Time Trials generally take place on the first Monday of the month and the times are then posted on the notice-board. Swimmers are then able to copy these down to maintain a record of their achievements.
